The Quicksand

Once you lose your heart,
and sometimes you lose your mind.
I lost my heart to one and mind to another.
The mercurial quicksand wants to tear me
in two.
For both of them.
I want them both,
sinking in,
deep in whirlpool ,
To be lost from this worldly world
forever and for all lives to come
