The last night or the new dawn

The fog makes me surrender to its darkness
The nip in the air makes me shiver.
I resort to the bed and the quilt.
No outings tonight for both of us.
He is disappointed,he is sad.
“This is the last night,we need to celebrate”
I pull him into warm comforts of my embrace.
The night won’t last long
and we have miles to go along…
Lets raise toast to the coming dawn
The sun which will bring in the new light.
Come on let us not fight.
And together we cuddle and snuggle.
At dot midnight,he shakes me from slumber,
Come on lets wish a new day a happy vibrant dawn
and so we welcome the new day
together
A doe and a charming young fawn.
