The Elusive Peace

There’s just a wall between them and me
I sit unaware of happenings
a massacre occurred again this morn
blood of innocent souls flowed forlorn
My tears are dry, give me some to mourn
I thought the wall was a prayer reborn
the air to reach God omnipotent
Even he’s scared of the earth demons
Is He hiding agog to hit them?
Why has peace become so elusive?
