The Chosen Ones

waves

Is it a wave or a tell-tale tail
Of a monster of necromancy
Hitting at the rocks with a loud bang
Resonant as the mighty Big bang

A rising tsunami that follows
A quiet stormy night stealthily close
To attack the point where it hurts crass
An apocalyptic reprieved dance

Warning of perils stalking the door
A test for the chosen few to hold
A faith in the absolute essence
Pray, be among the chosen ones!
