Summer in a shell

Slippery shores, waves broken
Under my soles, toes sinking in the sand
More waves,
More sun to bathe my old bones
Emmerald hues to spelbound the viewer
Roars of water in symphony with our fury

I own the skies, the clouds
Never I will borrow their blue to you

A stranger, a thief of solar bliss

Someday, in a mercy flood
He, who conquered my beach with his
Ecstazy, will share with me the shade
Long wasted on other travellers
Lost souls disinfected by salt
