Suicide

Questions galore
answers few
afraid to ask
wary more of answering
Corpses not always floating
they lie smashed
white clean concrete
bespattered
with brains that worked one day
brains that gave up
and took a final decision
Why do we need to live up there
reach out to touch the clouds
the blue deep so near
yet so far
and the abyss down below beckons
