I love being wrapped in darkness,
When the rain is hard outside;
Gurgling through the gutters
Like a stream.
It brings me back to mountains,
That I wandered as a boy –
Before the shovels came,
And dug up all my dreams.
I love being wrapped in darkness,
When the wind is strong outside;
Blowing its whistle
Through the trees.
It brings me back to forests,
That I wandered as a boy –
Before the logmen came,
To cut down all my dreams.

Sounds of Löst Dreams
I love being wrapped in darkness,
When the rain is hard outside;
Gurgling through the gutters
Like a stream.
It brings me back to mountains,
That I wandered as a boy –
Before the shovels came,
And dug up all my dreams.
I love being wrapped in darkness,
When the wind is strong outside;
Blowing its whistle
Through the trees.
It brings me back to forests,
That I wandered as a boy –
Before the logmen came,
To cut down all my dreams.
