He:- Oh, we are just oceans apart, so what?
Fused in our hearts, can we ever part?
She:- Two souls joined together as one,
Till eternity, this way we will remain.
He:- You are my Goddess, for you I will sing a psalm,
To heal all pains, your love is a potent balm,
She:- I am always floored and dumbfounded by your charm,
Separating oceans can not wash away our love and harm.
He:- I will keep the flames of our love burning bright,
Be it in the sunny day or in the cold night,
She:- Your sweet presence always brings me such delight,
Time or tide can’t separate us with their spite.
He:- Your beautiful face surfaces when I gaze across the shore,
Such is your magic as your whole being enmeshed in my heart’s core,
She:- Nothing can shake our sweet memories not even the storms roar,
Miles may be more, but our love shall reign for even more.
He:- Let me send my love letter through a mermaid,
And blow you a kiss to sail through the tides,
She:- Oh! we are just an ocean apart and our love will never fade.
For it is tested through times and has withstood all tirades.
He:- No other way I can turn for I am in love’s way,
No mighty winds of circumstances can wean me away,
She:- The storms of the destiny can make us sway,
Though our hairs thinned and turned grey.
He:- Bound by your love, I will never go astray,
Mired in your love, I will always stay,
She:- Let the world kill me and flay,
I am smitten by your love’s ray.
He:- With you, I will always stay and never betray,
In life’s gloomy nights or in bright days,
She:-Many acts of love, we shall enact and play,
I do not care whatever people say.
If we write a rhyming poem or an essay,
Through them, we will emphasize and say,
It is no way other than our love’s way,
Though we will not put it on bawdy display.
Even after our death and bodies decay,
Our souls will seek and remain in fray,
Come, let us dance and perform love’s ballet,
And forever walk in love’s pathway.
