She

Smile on her face
Twinkle in her eyes
Nobody knows what
Deep within lies

Dainty feet
Hair knotted neat
Draped in long skirt
Feminine treat

Scarf loose and flowing
Hat wide and showing
Her blue eyes half open
Deep day dreaming

There comes the wild wind
Blowing off her hat and
Up her long skirt
Like a spoilt brat

Rustling her hair bun
Loosening her bobbypin
Now fear in her eyes
Seeing the fiery mortal grin

Some courage she musters
And wedges she gathers
Runs for her life
Her pride now matters

Escapes from the clutches
Hunt and the witches
Save me O Lord !
Faints as she says ………
