There is no Christmas banter
for anyone to hear.
There are no special greetings
or seasonal good cheer.
There are no decorations,
or even pretty lights,
There is a lowly manager
in a stable, ohh serene
Where stars above the world
to see, in all humility
Watched from high above,
in hearts of men
A tiny figure all forlorn,
in a manager dwell.
There is no Christmas
banter for anyone to hear.
There are no special greetings
or seasonal good cheer.
There is a lowly stable, where
grace and beauty dwell,
With love of God so delicate,
and animals that smell.
For God’s own very Beloved,
Redeemer of mankind
Began in humble dwellings,
and learnt the art of love.
For Mary’s true devotion
to her God, up high above
She was divinely chosen and
blessed within His love.
There is no Christmas banter
for anyone to hear.
There are no special greetings
or seasonal good cheer.
There is a lowly stable, where
grace and beauty dwell
With Love of God soo delicate,
and the Saviour of the World!
