Room with a view

The colony of water

Hitting at the tired feet

That embrace the tiring gift

Of the road less taken.

Blueberry scent on the lips

That smile only to the heart

Of the stalwart sun.

And the clamour of desire

Spinning its skin into the

Delicacy of the moment

That foments the rawness

Of a season apart-

All softly painting themselves

On the eastern wall

Of the house of fading lilies,

Up on the pier of a sea

About to hold a ship

Sailing into the story

Of a valiant king.
