Porcelain Picasso

Why are words
So beautiful
And fragile
As porcelain
When they lie

Down to die?
Why do
Memories
Gather around
Them

Breathless
Like the poignant
Nagging
Figures
Of a Picasso canvas?

Porcelain Picasso reminds famous quote ‘Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks’. Poet left his silent concerns for readers to divulge. Lovely !
