Perched Upon the Rooftop

Perched upon the rooftop proudly looking on
What life is blessed to offer, to all who moan
and groan.
Radiant shades of golden gleam
and touched by grace of God.
Behold are nature’s palettes, kissed by gentle care
As not to dismiss each delicately framed –
Nature’s art of bark
With shaded, crisped orange-blended gold-
A kiss of baited sunset-blessed crimson,
Bloodstained autumn shredding leaves,
Robins perched, delicate in care,
Or wake of nature’s balanced, critical.
