My lost Baby

Few years back,
In rush of life,
I missed your arrival in my womb.
I did not realize,
I needed to take care,
To protect and to safe guard your life.
And I missed my chance,
Of being a mother once again.
That unawareness I still repent.
I wonder how people kill the fetus knowingly.
What will I not do ,
To get you back my child.

Realistic , topical and pathetic delineation…killing of girl child/fetus highly condemnable…

Very touching, you spoke of your pain and the pains of those mothers who have undergone the pain and yet don’t know how to express it in words.Great poem dear Nalini.
