The few moments in my life ... sometimes tears just fall from my eyes. Her face like freshly fallen snow ... as if it was the finest porcelain. Eyes as dark as the infinity of the universe ... like the hidden suns that steal the light. It always feels like a dream ... just listening to her speech flow. It always feels so easy and right ... just whispering or thinking of her name. The few moments were I can experience her ... are the greatest treasures I can find. The few moments that I have to settle for ... are the very best that I know. It's always a very special day ... who meets me when the journey ends. A long trip and I know it well ... often a dream that is distant. Believe me, I know very well the time it just goes ... believe me, the thought wears me out every single day. So I hope one day she sees me as I am ... one day she tells me I mean something. The few moments I can experience her ... is like the best hours anyone hopes to win. The few moments that I have with her to settle for today ... are the only ones I really care for.
The very epitome of ennui distilled through the author’s acute poetic filters.
A genuinely moving confessional poem.
Love and the expectation of it………wonderful
