In the clashing crowd of moments,
A thought creeps in,
You stealthily enter my soul,
To topple my world,
Everything within gets ruffled.
And I feel each part of my body getting pulled from all sides.
So much of resistance within to gather myself as one,
A strong force doesn’t let me stay calm,
A rendition of this extreme agonising skirmish ends only at your feet.
This tearing apart is no match to soul’s force
Of silence, faith and a serene touch.

A perceptive look at the ways in which the external world assails our attempts at inner contemplation.
