Manacled love

As she melts into my lap

A chill running up my spine

She looks into my eyes

Reading my thoughts, my kinks

Tension fills the air

Straining chords of my voice

Burdened depths of darkness

Feels so light, now, surfaces

She gives in meekly

She’s mine,

I own

I call the shots

I have the power

I love

She is loved!

Ubiquitous love expressed with the ubiquitous tenderness. Refreshing though as love always is when refreshed! If the metre was taken care of, the verse structure would have reflected the wave one feels when soothed in love. Love-ly !
