Love Song

The matter is not about the way moonlight leaves
tracks on your terrace when you step outside
or birds speak to you when in the morning you
wish for a litte time there to bide

The matter is not about leaves of trees
or hurt and pain you feel for nobodies
but about your heart that is girl-like
like a daughter, sister or lover who cries

The matter is about nothing
but your voice on a summer night
that lances into me like a wound
and leave me bleeding with insight
