Love (Redefined)

Hold my hand for love is in the air
From heart to soul, all heartbeats we share
Special care exclusive to our pair
Pains and joy mutual, easy to bear

Love’s a trustful freedom to loved one
Love buds with a smile, till turns fulcrum
Love entails a sacrifice offbeat
Love’s a candle that can melt without heat

Red rose on valentine transmits blush
Who knows it might be a random crush
Love is best when given to deprived
Love turns divine when you empathise

A fine study of the different shades of love, culminating in the observation: “Love turns divine when you empathise.”
