Line of Death

Chaff my unnumbered pain
Winnowing deadly night
Giant of slumbering void
Clutch me tight and deep
Echoing the honk of time
I lay barren of my demise

He with his silent hooves
Galloping great strides
Robbed me of all Vitals
From my body and mind
Left to wriggle my soul
Straining all that was

I queue no line of death
In this bobble journey
Where no riches wharf
This barren moorland;
What lurch along
this thunderous grim, is
But, depth of abysmal sea

” Line of Death ” immediately engages the reader’s attention and handles questions about the furthest depths of our existential dread with a steady handed poetic grip.
