Let Me Go

Let me go
To touch the wintry desolate
Sky of hopfulness..
A cold wind enwraps
This crispy dawn
Behind the curtain
Of dark deep gloom.

Let me go
To unfurl my wings
That bring an ocean of hope
In the dull dismal valley
Of lifelessness..
I sing the song alone..
For the generations to come.

In ” Let me go ” , the author deals with weighty matters which expresse a certain sadness and weariness akin to melancholy. Welcome to Destiny Poets’ International Community of Poets, Santanu Halder with an excellent first post and share on our site !

“Let me go” pulverize the finer goal, unbounded; to soar the heights where only loneliness reign and hope holds a baton of light!

    Excellent!
