It rained last night

I had gone to sleep so late
Finally I had dozed off in endless wait.
I woke to the sound of thundering showers
And few raindrops pelted me from the nearby bower.
I woke up drowned in the smell of the petrichor,
It seemed I was drugged and wanted still more.
I stepped out in rain showers to drench my soul
To live few moments being one with nature
and forget my vacuum and feel Whole.
