It is too small.

It is too small

your little wild flower plucked by the wayside

– though I agree it is beautiful –

to offer, in return for a garland.

It shows your sadness

It is too small,  just

your guilt at little betrayals

that added up to something big

now being expressed

and your great fear of losing me,

you know, that is all.

But is it too small?

No, it isn’t at all.
