In my Solitude

The buds of my poetry deep in my silence buried
Shrouded by the clouds in my feeble memory
The diurnal-vernal rays did not find their way
The cadence of variegated dreams collapses
Susurrus of childhood-summer birds fades away
I burn my reserve as my feet get wet in pain’s murky puddle
My longing-hungry-soul shrinks like a frozen sea
A soft breeze serenades this damp moonlit night
And the moon plays a nocturne with light and dark shadows
In glee my silence and the stars shared one or two secrets
