In a terrain of draining hopes

From the one
Very near and dear
A minute dose of neglect
Like a simple pin prick
Did suffice
Into my sincere soul

Yes, it did pain
Not just a bit permeated
But reacting in chain
An untamed fission
Now oozing the jets of pain
Entering into the heavy heart
Playing the harp…

I am bound to swallow
Bit after bit, that
Contaminated my mindset
Now upturned
Under balanced
Awaiting the collapse
An ultimate emotional arrest

An irreparable blankness
Would be the balance, yet
I’ve taken the vow of faith.
