We fall silent
thin layers of air between us
alter the intensity.
the shape and colour
of the evening clouds
immersive,
I can’t fathom,
use the metaphor,
I count stars in random digits.
my hands are empty
put my heads on your hand
stay alive-
the yellow scarf,
the tilt of your head,
in your hair, the brown pin
frozen up in my retina.
imagine a world elsewhere
full of perplexity
less often
I don’t know myself.
I can only read love in your eyes
Light up like earthen lamps
So beautiful…. so innedite!!!
So wonderfully woven and expressed. Very beautiful.
Thanks Iulia and Rashmi for your kind and wonderful words.
