The last patches of my stay here,
In this city where no one is for me.
That’s what I felt all along while I lived here
Lonely, bored, aggressive, angry at one and all.’
But anywhere spending some time,
Some relations, some bonds one does form,
The bonds though few, I formed here too.
The ties of love and care, of those who stayed with me
Instead of stopping, looking and passing on.
Not forgetting to flash one smile,
However busy they were in life.
A stranger on his way of life,
Wants what more but some attention,
Few kind words, a pat and a hug,
A blanket of love and warmth to keep him snug.
I got some too, leaving behind few chapters in my mind
Whenever I will like to feel, what I felt in an alien land,
I would prefer to touch these love filled spots in my memories
Than to think of those who didn’t even get time to wait or stand.
