I decide to exist

The moon laughs softly
into my ears
looks at me
with twinkles in its eyes
as if telling me that
I know your secrets
the sea sends the waves
to touch me again
and yet again
to return back that feel
of touching my soul
to its lap
the lonely beach
is not so lonely
my lazy footsteps hug it’s being
the moon, the sea ,the beach
all are aware of my presence
I am overwhelmed
with the bliss
of being cared for and
wanted by the universe
therefore, I decide to exist.

It is the most important real choice everyone makes – to be or not to be. A fine take on the existentialist dilemma

yes it is great to feel, to know that we human beings share the universe…we do care and why not be cared in return? A lovely write to find bliss in the beauty around!

Though we don’t ‘choose’ to take birth, we often do make a choice to be or not to be. Hence the word ‘decide’ sounds so powerful!
