I am writing; no poetry

Look at yourself
While composing your poetry
Typing your text on fluorescent screen
Dabbing your fingers;
And see for it –
The depth
You let bits and bytes
Perceive affinity of your ‘self’, and
Let others perceive you
by reading your poetry

How is it, that
You are loosing your sight, while
Gaining an inner eye –
A Miltonian wisdom in process

While you take an attendee
Typing your words;
I shear off
The skin of my pen, and
Mark the sign
Where my pain has fallen with the ink

I am writing; no poetry

    What bravado in the use of poetic language! So very beautifully penned!
