I am back

Yes,I got lost,
in tarnishes of time.
Demands making me grasp for breath.
Days passed in blur,
When I didn’t even notice I was alive.
Priorities became my movement,
achieving them need of the hour.
The soul was brooding without attention,
and my heart was torn apart.
Someone then reminded me
I am not machine which performs.
Welcome me my life,my love,
I am back, take me in your arms.

Enmeshed in the daily rituals of life, we tend to get”lost/In the tarnishes of time.” This is an excellent poem of ‘rediscovery”!
