He is a Magician

He is a magician
gestures, wand and hat
black robe and red scarf
hypnotizing, was he ?
with eyes focused
his hands turned
pigeons into rats …
flowers out of napkins
and juggling balls,
six at a time…
dancing stick
swaying high,
his fingers control
everything or eyes ,
i know not….
but the boiling pot
had chilled water
I know !
I was the volunteer
ready to be sliced
In the big
black case….
hanging my neck
on the chopping board,
what gave me courage,
what gave me strength ?
whether the red
turning in to yellow,
or the paper frills
turning in to dove,
anger in to peace
or frowns in to smiles ,
was it a bait
to captivate me ?
I wondered ….
felt like a chicken
or just like an egg,
full of faith
to be born again,
Bright and shining
with a whip of his wand,
He was a magician
in black silk robe,
He was a magician
big eyes and brows …
