Haiku, Senryu and Tanka

ocean sounds
I pass a conch
from my ear to hers

monsoon dusk
the flood carrying
my shattered dreams

long rain
the homelessness
reopens the school

holding tight
to the hand of my child–
on the iPad
my mother talks and talks
of returning roles
