Gaza

A grave yard fumes… Into the nothingness, it mourns

The mystery plays of miseries enacted In the palace of justice! The characters crucified A numb spectacle high lighted Adorned are they in Blood-coated aprons The religious insomnia spitting A callous cascade bursting out…

Driven are those bomb shells As a down pour whistling harsh The quick-ignited shocks And murderous shots… The ‘morrows’ lively buds crushed There resonating the cries for help The torn and worn out hopes Wandering and swaying in vain… Staining the tapestry On the walls of history Blackening are the blood dots…

Which religious account would glorify This relentless scorn, Humiliation of humanity

The lives lost, the dreams drenched The hopes hung and sublimed Would these be featured in Any recording set, for a come-back?

In the days to come An insane mother’s mind would wander In hysterical bouts of pain Kids’ eyes would madly reckon A broken toy or a torn off kite Only dreary balls of fire Of hatred and agony gathering Would rise in the dawning horizon…

Oh! Pleaders… do breech Oh! Priests of peace… do preach Hey! Peace-makers…. Do design an entreaty Hey! Activists of equality… March up your morale Hey! Poets of heart Pen down the anguish Listen to the craving cries They need you Do shield them from The bomb shells and gun shots Respect be paid to the rights Restore the dignity of humanity.
