I tailored my shadow
like a shirt
to trim me around
as I find that
the deepest treasure
is found collery in our heart
but
it started opposing the light
from the inside
lurking outside
just touching
where
it pivoted, and
dangled to the flicker, at dawn
Captivating imagery.Insightful !
So much thanks Vijay Nair Jee.
The author’s opening line , ” I tailored my shadow “, inveigles the unsuspecting reader into another inimitably surreal, allegorical poetic coup de theatre.
