Dreaming My Moon

Holding your hand
Strolling in the full moon
Looked into your eyes
Asking you, if I am alive?

You pressed my hand
Your starlit eyes, smiled
Glanced at me, with love
Assuring that, I am alive !

I splashed water on your face
To see if it wets, you smiled
And wiped it with my scarf
And I believed, I am alive !

And then….I found you nowhere
Not the stream not the moon
Neither the fragrant breeze
Nor the silvery beams

I realized, I was granted a night
To consummate under heaven
To relish your unfinished love
My wish for your love, for a night

Two virtual souls kept wandering…….
They had lost their ways that night…….
