distances do matter

Who says distances don’t matter…?
i don’t agree absence makes heart grow fonder.
what i feel rather, distances make you wary,
gingerly thoughts crowd your mind.
shilly-shally ideas make you go crazy.
apprehensions caste their net in the once mighty heart.
you feel lonely and no thoughts comfort your pain.
mind wonders whether this abide is worth any gain.
you learn to manage without that special one,
and then you learn to do well too.
and life gets on its own way,
snug new life has no place for anyone now.
either you learn to take new friends, and be comfy,
or you mitigate your sentiments running wild.
either you become charm and beat of every heart,
or you learn to live like no one’s child.
