Mild streaks of early sunlight,
Knocked at the window panes.
The effort was to take away my slumber
A new day was stepping into the threshold.
The day had dawned
I was still in sleep mode.
Dazed and hazy,
Like a fog hit morning.
Cords of doubt and confusion
Clouded my bleary mind.
Last night, I had lost myself
In a crazed swell of passion.
The morning after, was I regretful?
Or I was going to revel in the thrill!
The dilemma wrecked my snoring mind,
And,it was just the day after.
An engagingly bright and breezy poetic divertissement.
Thanks a lot Louis
The dilemma to meet the day stepped in through the threshold … beautifully expressed.
