Darkness to light

Stars twinkle and flicker only in dark sky
Beings drink water only on throat being dry
Sun, moon, shed their light only in darkness
Winds make sound only when they hit surface
Silence holds the scene in stupefaction
Salvation far fetched in mundane advent
Searching facts leads to understand obscure
The colours preceding dusk are joy pure
Why not accept the dark lurking later
Light will emit its rays from mind’s juncture
Witnessing gem treasured in consciousness
Key of light will drive away the darkness
Till then darkness befriends leading to light
To release one from mortality’s plight
