As you stood on the platform and watched
The long-distance train leave without you
You asked yourself: ”Why did I remain?”
Sometimes, life poses unsettling questions
Which you really cannot answer without
Having to compromise with common sense
And the sudden choice you make
Doesn’t always take place in a space
The mind can calmly claim
As a territory it owns–
The heart moves in a stream
Mirroring forgotten selves
And faces that stir memories
And a ripple of voices
Asking you to remain.
Yes..Life certainly poses unsettling questions.
But it certainly has answers too.. !!
Thoughtful , heartfelt lines..Vijay Sir.

A poignant and contemplative work.
Thank you very much,Louis.
Memory is carved out of the forgotten past. Yet something remain of the concern that prove it’s existence in much of our remaining.
Poignant.
Thank you, dear Tapeshwar.
