Screams and cries
ringing in my ears
though I was not
anywhere near,
life oozing out
of bodies torn,
bulk exodus
wonder whether reborn..,
so brittle so delicate
almost as if
was worthless
mercilessly washed out
white in death ,
and bleeding souls
In yet beating hearts,
eyes blurred in kohl
crying to the last drop,
wailing mourning
satan is calling
casting a doom
on all that was green,
flourishing rich
with love and passion
laughter echoing
till sometime back,
gone with a boom
and a crash and plunge
fire at places and
watery grave for others,
life so cheap
gone by tons
weighing on my mind,
stunned with fear
world will end
sorrow and misery
unhappiness galore,
why so much pain
all around every day ?
will it ebb
or keep rising ?
me praying in fervour
may the prayers be answered
for enough is enough
can’t handle more
can’t handle more
can’t handle more..
