I will dress you with my fire”, says the Dragon
Spitting tears through his broken teeth
My skin, his pestilent saliva
a mix with fire consequence
“I will melt you with my lava”, says the old Dragon
crawling on the ledge of the abyss
My skin, his scales, a harsh touch on my shoulder
the place where the wings will start growing
I sink slowly,
the hourglass is silently eating my ashes
The dragon is flying around
in circles, anxious
to witness the breakthrough
Mordant symbolism ,allegory and metaphor abound in this barely subdued poetic cacophony.Another tribute to the indefatigable spinner of the sinister !
