Boo the heat of Summers

Boo the heat…
Poked by the heat of sunlight, sweat flows.
Skin dark and bruised with sun tan
It has become difficult to live.
Then came the heat waves of Loo.
Forget the winter and spring
Chilled drinks don’t work,
Throat parched like an old leather shoe..
I wish that we were in prehistoric times,
Wearing the clothes made of leaves
We could enjoy the breeze and its free flow.
