Beautiful Blue

Blue calls me
from the sky and the sea
from the depths of the earth
Turquoise- hued

Beautiful blue

Makes me wonder
if you met me
would this look like you
or you recognise in me
these same blue tints
achingly lovely
passed on to me
by you
from your piercing eyes
and the wall
and the cloth
etched forever
in shades of blue
that will not pass away now
inside and outside me

Beautiful blue?
