Back to silent musings

The days of chatting away the blues are over,
Now silence will reign supreme.
Once I was the silent gazer in thoughts amassed ,
Then came the fighter with tools of words in galore.
I always wondered which persona should I finally select,
Even the silence can be deafening,
And the chatterbox fighter can be a bore.
The people didnt bear me then,
They don’t like me now ,
To utter or just to stutter is the dilemma for me.
But the blow to my heart has given me the answer.
Born to bear the wounds silently
It was my destiny destined.
Being a fighter, stealing away moments of joy,
Just a mirage,I dulled myself in for years.
Now back to days of silent musings,
I would spend my days in company of silence,
And let it have its way.
