An elixir for survival

Drumming in the head

Is a tune orchestrating

As if the thoughts embodied

Gulped in a quick thirst

Blended in and synchronized

Now

Whirling in and out, spiraling

A multifarious reel of amusement!

Oh! In an unreal ticking of time

It’s now a callous out cry

Plummeting vilely

Lingers on and on deep

The ho hums hawking

Yes, for sure; there lies the prey

Sharp into the centre tumult it fell

Zipped in a huge carcass of sounds!

Agonized, it laments and squirms

Fretting, fuming and vaporizing

Paralyzed, lay abortive, abhorring!

Yes, the humming in an eclipsing note

It’s haunting in mercurial temper

 Steadying to chisel out

The every tit and bit in its assault

From that mortally handsome

Would sort and pick up piece a piece

Swallow in to a shell full of thoughts!

May the time hesitate to tick a while!

May it click a moment of spark!

On the facet of curtain fall

May it explode, as an escaped pray!

And emerge into the life.

Old wounds haunt and echo agony through recurring thoughts that longs for an eternal healing. An engaging poem one can relate easily with the engrossing expression.
