A Living Corpse

A denial for too long,
An unforgotten, unsung song,
Lethargy seeped into dreams,
World getting stretched beyond the seams.
Passion turned into apathy,
Heart has forgotten tunes of sympathy,
The hurt no longer hurts but relished,
Soul cured with emptiness,
And she turned into a living corpse….
