A Drop of Joy

The heat simmering to pass
Seeing thirsty lives,
When in narrow thoughts
Fills the hot bickering
Deep within, when man
Bears the fruits of sorrow,
Earth’s hot sigh rising up
In the vastness, cooling down,
In the deep chasm of grief
The spring jets churned up,
The summer heat seems
To glide away and die,
The huge doors of sky open
As if a magic, someone
Turns a trick in its key-hole,
In a sudden bang,
The cluster of clouds raising slogans
Of joy and merriment
The rays of light, capsules of jewels
Form the urns of diamonds
Alas! It’s a blissful joy that falls
As the first rain drops.
