A candid confession

I get floored by the temptations
I’m offered, by so many around
they tempt me to leave all that I have,
to enjoy being admired and lusted after,
they make me think, how it would feel,
to enjoy some secret liaison,
to be the femme fatale,
who can lure someone to
forget the world and
succumb to her charms…
to make the men go weak in their knees,
to make them forget their duties
to sweep them off their feet
with the passion of her form and soul,
I would love being the maneka,
who stole the sagacity of all the sages.
who could warm the most steadfast men
to her beauty and charm…
i may not be young anymore but
I believe that beauty still lasts longer
in the heart of beholder,
so I am sure that I will have my admirers,
even though I will keep growing older
