The early skies are still
I gaze at it in wonder.
Your shrill call breaks through
I gaze at you instead.
You fly off
carrying with you
the shrills the colors and all.
I carry your flight with me
my drab moments to brighten
wings for my breath
stillness, my restless mind.
A very short and beautiful write. Simple and short. Enjoyed the write as if gazing to fly. Loved the last stanza.
Suffused with serenity; a well crafted contemplative poem.
thank you Ramesh Rai and Louis Kasatkin 🙂
